Stephen Hodgson joined Knight Frank in 1988 from Henry Spencer & Sons Limited and set up the office in Sheffield. Throughout his early career he specialised in agency work but during the mid 1980’s progressed into development and investment and has been responsible for many of the large commercial projects in the sub region over the last 15 years. The Sheffield and Leeds offices have always worked closely together and Stephen had a dual role playing a part in managing both offices. The Sheffield office of Knight Frank has now grown into a market leader in the South Yorkshire area, specialising in agency, development and investment work with further diversification into professional, building surveying and consultancy. The office has represented a number of larger developers but of late has fostered relationships with a number of Public Sector organisations and corporates offering a fully integrated service. The Sheffield and Leeds offices are now merged as one profit centre and Stephen plays a full role in the management of both offices which has helped grow one of the most dominant practices in the Yorkshire area.
