Pelham has had many years experience of working in and advising the Public Sector on the utilisation of its property assets. This has enabled him to build up a deep understanding of its culture and ethos. He has experience of Central Government and PFI projects, beginning with the PSA and the Building & Property Group (now Interserve Ltd). His local government experience began at Westminster’s City Council’s Corporate Property Department working as part of a team on the strategy that would ultimately enable Westminster City Council to work more efficiently with less space. He has brought this experience in his advice to other local authority’s accommodation strategies. With the increasing emphasis on urban renewal, Pelham has been involved in a number of high profile regeneration projects including inner city brown field sites, council estates, and library, leisure centre reprovision. Public Private Partnerships have been at the forefront of this experience.
