Jeremy acts on behalf of a wide range of companies, institutions, government agencies and County and District Councils, frequently advising on strategic property initiatives for new developments and rationalising property holdings. Over the last two decades he has provided specialist property consultancy, town planning and development advice in connection with the redevelopment of numerous hospital sites for Health Authorities and Health Trusts, coordinating large scale master planning in respect of many of these sites. He has considerable experience in preparing development appraisals, location studies and analysis for organisations and has extensive knowledge and experience in land assembly, development funding and joint venture schemes. Jeremy also advises acquiring authorities and claimants on compulsory purchase and compensation advice, giving evidence in the Lands’ Tribunal on property valuation matters. Jeremy also provides advice to Private Sector clients seeking grants for urban renewal and regeneration projects. His work covers the preparation of planning applications, development briefs, planning appeals and public inquiries. This includes the preparation of impact studies and environmental assessment where appropriate. He also undertakes research on development related topics for the ODPM, RICS, GLA, GOL, LDA and TfL.

  • Planning permissions, listed building consents and conservation area consents were granted following negotiations with all relevant consultees including CABE, GLA and English Heritage.
  • Transport for London

  • CPO advice on the redevelopment of Bishopsgate Goodsyard and likely compensation for the East London Line Extension, which will provide a new transport connection from inner North and East London to the City fringe and Docklands.
  • Inventures (NHS)

  • Advice in relation to the redevelopment of Mabledon Hospital, Kent, for the development of 200 houses and other development in the Green Belt; attended a public inquiry providing viability evidence.

  • CPO advice in the Thames Gateway as part of the ongoing masterplanning instructions for this client at Creekmouth – Castle Green.
