Alex has had several years experience focusing on Public Sector clients, with experience in partnership projects, property management, and development and valuation consultancy. Alex has most recently advised bidders and promoters with regard to a number of PFI and PPP schemes, which has involved a wide range of experience in all aspects of the property industry. As well as specific PFI projects he also provides valuation and consultancy advice in relation to other projects and instructions including advice to Public Sector clients regarding their property holdings. He has a strong understanding of financial option analysis, strategic property analysis and the issues that can arise. He has been through the entire PFI procurement process participating not only in the preparation of ITN documentation but also in the detailed assessment of bids.

• Department for Constitutional Affairs Lead Property consultant in the site search and financial analysis of the Option considered for the new Supreme Court facility in Central London.

• Defence Estates (MoD) – MODEL Project

• Lead property consultant to the MoD providing valuation and consultancy advice in respect of site rationalisation proposals to provide new barracks facilities and surplus sites for disposal.

• Defence Estates (MoD) - Pan Government Record Storage Project, Hayes

• Lead consultant in the preparation of bid documentation, strategic property advice and the PFI bid process and evaluation. The specific requirements of the Pan Government record storage facilities as well as the property solutions for a strategic and valuable development site near Heathrow are a key requirement within the project.

• Home Office - Central London Accommodation Project

• Lead consultant in the accommodation PFI project. Co-ordinated the bid submission and bid evaluation leading to the award of preferred bidder, further negotiations, legal drafting and financial close of the project.
